 INSPIRATION

Inspired by the legendary Studer mixing consoles from the 1970s, the PRE169 features a near perfect replication of the original 169 input stage circuit and its fairly transparent sound with massive gain range. This special limited edition celebrates the genius of Willi Studer. His incredible creations will always inspire us, whether we're working on classic designs or new ones.

The ultimate input section for ribbon microphones and low-level sources, featuring an incredible 71 dB of gain!

A very musical 12dB/octave High Pass Filter, tuneable from 20 to 315Hz, to clean that messy low end.

A slightly coloured DI input that will give all your instruments that classic and massive 169 sound.

A brushed aluminium faceplate with unique printing inspired by the classic design of old Studer mixing desks — timeless and minimalist.



An old-fashioned assembly of 100% discrete THT components through the audio path.
